RC 2 of the book is out.
When I asked for readers a few weeks ago, I half expected polite “looks great!” replies. I got that, but also the opposite, which honestly is more helpful. Almost feels like “crowd backed editing”, and it’s really cool. I’ll wager that also in this aspect, the Elm community might be one of the most friendly and helpful of its kind.
I’m calling it RC 2 in the software-release sense – release candidate, meaning I now believe the book is good enough to print, but I want one more round of eyes on it before I commit.

The feedback window closes May 24. After that I’m spending the last week of May on finalization – final copy edits, print layout etc – and targeting June 1 for the finished version. Hopefully, there’ll be a physical, book-shaped book ready to ship by the same date.
If you’ve been meaning to take a look but haven’t, the next 18 days are when your feedback can still shape the final version. The book is on Leanpub, or email me at christian.ekrem+book-review@gmail.com and I’ll send you a chapter – same offer as last time, I’d rather have your honest reaction than your money.
(And then I will get back to writing more frequent blog posts.)
